Emergency Crafting

We normally get more than 48 hours notice for a Pick of the Week, but who says we don't like a challenge!  There was no time to get the Clearly Hand Stamped kits to the design team, so it was down to me and Debs to spend the day (and the night before) crafting.  I'm glad I don't have to do this often, although it was a great day, it was tough crafting to such a tight deadline, especially as I hadn't really seen the kit before I took it from the office last night!  It's a good job that's it a really cute kit and the ideas were soon flowing.  More good news is that being at Debbie's I got great soup and even got to sample her mincemeat muffins - delish!
So here's one of the cards that I made, this one was inspired by challenges at:
Case study - challenge #14
The Playdate Cafe - colour challenge
CRAFT challenge - colour challenge

It's Chinese for tea tonight and then back to the day job tomorrow, I'm back in the office but that's no bad thing.

Today is also a day where we remember our fallen heroes.  It's always a day that  I've taken seriously but this my thoughts during the silence were more personal.  To our hero.

Hi Claire, lovely card. Sorry about inlinkz, noticed it myself this morning and have rectified it. Somehow date defaulted to Tuesday night rather than Wednesday night. Have linked your entry for you.
Thank you for joining us at CRAFT Challenge again and good luck.
Don't forget to check back with us again on Thursday to see the next challenge and to see if you have won.

Jo and Tigerlover.
