Today is the official launch day for the new range from Jayne Nestorenko, it Adorables. There's 6 stamps and one CD. Here's another sneek peak of what I've been up to with the Waiting set. For this card I've used the background stamp if the hearth and teamed it with gorgeous sentiment stamp. I printed onto the ivory card from the CD before I die cut the card.
I'm entering this card into the challenge at:
Charisma Cardz - Try Something New (the new being a much softer look on a Christmas card for me and I used new stamps too)
Other bits and pieces used in the card include:
Kraft cardstock from PTI
To get the soft shading around the edges, I apply the ink in circular motions using the cut n dry foam. I stamped the imaged in the same ink which allowed me to add some shading by using the ink as a painting medium.
Some new stamps popped through my letter box today, so I had to have a quick play. They're 2 gorgeous sets from Waltzing Mouse, thanks Claire, they are gorgeous. On this card it's the large frame that fits perfectly into the Nestabilities.
I'm putting this card into the following challenges:
Caardvarks - sketch
Allsorts challenge - New Beginnings
Totally Papercrafts - Let's go dotty
For this one I used:
Card - Craftwork cards ultra smooth premium cardstock (I love this card)
Sissix embossing folder
American Crafts Rub ons (reduced in Hobbycraft tonight)
Gingham ribbon
Waltzing mouse vintage labels 10
Ink - PTI sweet blush
As you can see I'm still in bookmark making mode and though I'd make a little bookmark, using the bookplate die. It just slots over the top of your page.
