A taste of ATC's

Well the rest of my weekend was as much fun as the start of it and I went on another wonderful walk on Sunday, even though it was rather wet and drizzly.  One of the best bits of the walk was that I got to make a new friend, the lovely Isla aged 5 for 2 more sleeps, as she told me.  I also learned all about horrible histories, skipped and sang follow the yellow brick road, or our version follow the muddy green field!  Once she'd grabbed my hand to get over a stile she didn't let go for several miles.  She's a fabulous little walker and did the whole lot without a single whinge.  What a little star.
As you can see by the time we got back we were slightly bedraggled!

Oh and Isla, I agree with you, pom poms rock!!

I haven't made ATC's for ages but made this little ATC book for Papercraft Essentials.  I'm popping these into challenges at:
The Crafty Pad - something new - new stamps
Just us Girls - colour challenge #67, aqua, coral and green

Supplies used:
Stamps - Paperartsy
Papers - K&Co Poppy Seeds designer mat pad
Card - core'dinations

So it's another busy week at work but hopefully I'll be back to post something on my blog soon.

Hi Claire, aww what a sweet little friend! My eldest granddaughter is 5 and she is so delightful and entertaining too. Love your ATC - something I've not got into yet but they'd be a good way to use up all the bits and bobs! Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog - you are a lovely lady yourself! xxxxxxx

I have such happy memories of you and Isla holding hands and skipping across the soggy fields. Ginger you and Isla were a ray of sunshine on whay could have been a gloomy day. Plus i remain completely in debit to you for the bunk up over that last style, or else Archi may never have made it home. LOL. Love Archi x
