Woo hoo - I've got 4 days off. So what will I be doing? Well, I've got some homework (that's what I call my magazine work) to do, so that means I get to craft - yeah :) Then I'll be recharging my batteries and spending some time with my family. Sounds like a great plan to me.
I sneaked in a bit of crafting last night and have made cards for some challenges:
This one is for Daring Cardmakers at their challenge this week is to be inspired by egg shapes or chocolate or both! So I went for chocolate. I've had these little chocolate stamps from gel-a-tins for years but I still love them and thought they were perfect for this challenge.
The second one is a new home card and as it's a shaped card I'm entering it into this weeks challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar. I still need to make a box for it but that won't take a minute with my Ultimate Pro :) The key, the papers and the die cuts are all from craftworkcards, they've got some gorgeous stuff at the minute. The fabulous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I blame Jacqui for my latest addicition!!
Last but not least is this little cutie. The papers including the owl are from the Papermania Honey & Hugs 6" x 6" paper pack. I love making toppers from patterned paper. It's a great way to make those pennies go a bit further. I'm popping this card into 2 challenges:
Inspirational Card Sketches Blog with a great sketch this week
Totally Papercrafts Blog where the challenge was green and pink
So I hope everyone has some time off and gets to relax for a few days xxx
